1 April 2019

The article focusses on Pact’s 2025 Promise and three aspirational targets:

1. REDUCE – Eliminate all non-recyclable packaging Pact produces
2. REUSE – Have solutions to reduce, reuse and recycle all single use secondary packaging in supermarkets
3. RECYCLE – Offer 30% recycled content across Pact’s packaging portfolio

“We are seeing a definite trend in all categories towards eliminating single use / unnecessary packaging, light-weighting, incorporating recycled content and making packaging 100% recyclable” Siobhan McCrory Pact Group Executive General Manager of Sales, Marketing and Innovation. “We are also seeing brand owner increase consumer education to how to responsibly dispose of packaging.”
