Pact Group named one of BRW’s 50 Most Innovative Companies for second consecutive year

13 December 2014

A world-first, the RMP noisewall comprises 5000 panels constructed over a 12-month period and spans a 27-kilometre stretch of the Peninsula Link in Victoria. The heavy-duty panels are designed to diffuse noise as it passes through the material, absorbing and reflecting sound through a hollow core. The panels are supported by galvanised steel universal beams and a simple mounting system. The RMP noisewall have an extended design life and are an alternative to traditional noise abatement materials (timber, concrete, hebel and steel) that are slow and costly to install due to their weight. Subsequent to the success of Peninsula Links’s noisewall, Pact Group has been selected to supply some 55,000 square metres of panels to the new M5 freeway in Sydney. Potential future projects include M2 (Sydney), M8 (Sydney) and a motorway in Europe.
