Pact Group has won a prestigious 2018 Worldstar Packaging Award in the Packaging Materials & Components category for our rPET Moisturelock Meat Tray.

The WorldStar Competition is one of the major events of the World Packaging Organisation (WPO) and is the pre-eminent international award in packaging. WorldStar illustrates the continual advancement of the state of packaging design and technology and creates a living standard of international packaging excellence from which others may learn.

Pact rPET (Recycled Polyethylene Terephthalate) Moisturelock Tray comprises 50% recycled material and can be recycled. The innovation is the trays ability to capture fluid in the base. The ‘dimples’ in the bottom hold fluid when tilted or turned upside down removing the need for a soaker pad.

Pact’s rPET Moisturelock Meat Tray has received numerous industry accolades including the 2017 Australian Packaging and Processing Innovation and Design Award and Green Ribbon Award for Sustainability.
