Pact Group is Proud to Package a 2015 Product of the Year Winner – Anathoth Farm Sweet Chilli Relish

10 March 2015

Established 28 years ago in France, POY currently operates in 40 countries with the same purpose: guide consumers to the best products in their market and reward manufacturers for quality and innovation.

In Australia, the Product of the Year seal is backed by the votes of 15,000+ consumers, serving as a guidance for shoppers in the supermarket, saving them time and money. For manufacturers of the winning products, the award is a powerful marketing message proven to increase product trial, awareness, distribution and sales.

Barker’s Anathoth Farm range is packaged in Pact’s Award winning Superlock™ technology. Described as a pioneering solution in plastic packaging, Superlock™ has a user friendly, easy to open and close click-on screw lid. The unique look of the Superlock™ pot enables it to be a stand out on the ambient supermarket shelf. The package also utilises proprietary barrier label substrate to deliver extended shelf life, particularly to oxygen sensitive products in the ambient supply chain, by substantially reducing oxygen permeation. The unique combination of a membrane seal and oxygen barrier makes oxygen transmission almost non-existent and extending the shelf life of products for up to 24 months. The container is made from Polypropylene which allows for easy recycling and is microwave, dishwasher and freezer safe.
