17 January 2013

These include different colours for lid and base as well as clear options to give maximum shelf presence. The lid and base weights can be optimized leading to significant weight/material and cost savings over conventional single piece hinged systems. It is even possible to combine different materials for the lid and base if the end use application can benefit from this.

Typical applications include fruit and berry punnets, and opens up a greater freedom in pack design and presentation.
